It is very unusual for a Partagas within the ‘Serie D’ range to have anything other than a 50 ring gauge. The original Serie D No.3, from the 1930’s, would have been 5 ½” x 50. This vitola was part of the brand’s original 1999 line-up and it was a unique to San Cristóbal de la Habana. Discontinued in 2013, it has received outstanding reviews, including a 90-point rating from Cigar Aficionado in 2015, described as “a cigar that brims with dark chocolate and earthy flavours.”
