I would say that authenticating cigars for the vintage and rare Online cigar Auctions from C.Gars is what I enjoy the most about working with cigars at the moment.
I always enjoyed a good cigar during or after a good meal, but my interest deepened significantly after spending a few years working in the humidor at Dunhill in central London.
My first cigar was likely a Cohiba Siglo II, enjoyed in a lounge in Berlin many years ago. However, the first truly memorable cigar I had was a Seleccion Orchant Ramon Allones Belicosos from March 2007.
It is helpful to have someone knowledgeable to guide you through your first selections. Experiment with different vitolas and vintages as your palate develops and take your time to enjoy.
Any regular cigar smoker knows that picking just three favorite cigars is nearly impossible. However, a well kept Ramon Allones Petit Robusto Regional Edition for Israel from 2011, Hoyo de Monterrey Diademas from the 2004 Limited Humidor and the Bolivar Belicosos Finos from 2007 are among the finest cigars I have ever had.
Becoming a master in Havana cigars has deepened my understanding of the Cuban cigar industry within the United Kingdom as it has provided valuable perceptions of the industry and the people who are part of it.
