What do you enjoy most about working with cigars?

I really enjoy the relaxed environment the cigar create between guests giving you the opportunity to meet new people in no time and share different opinions related to cigars and not only.

What first interested you in cigars?

I was firstly surprised about the wide range of different cigars brands, I really did not expect to be so many, with all the bands carefully placed. Then I became curious about how the cigars were made realising the opportunity I have to work with a unique product.

Do you remember your first cigar?

My first cigar ever smoke was during a training trip in Tallin. We stopped at La Casa del Habano, It was a Montecristo N.2 which I paired with a Hennessy XO cognac.

What is the best piece of advice you have for someone just starting to smoke cigars?

I always recommend to start with a light/light to medium flavour cigar with a medium size for the guests top enjoy until the end and then to smoke different brands to understand the different flavours and qualities.

What are your favourite three cigars?

Hoyo Monterrerey Meravilla, Habanos Collection from 2015 Montecristo Sublime, Limited Edition from 2008 Por Larragana Sobresaliente, UK regional Edition from 2014

Has becoming a Master in Havana Cigars helped you in your profession?

It definitely did, I believe that in order to fully understand the beauty of Habanos you need to know its roots and in order to be able to help others appreciate it you truly need this knowledge.
