Already a long standing Havana Cigar Specialist, Mitchell’s Wines in Sheffield have now joined the elite La Casa del Habanos network.
Tucked away on the south side of Sheffield, Mitchell’s Wine Merchants at 354 Meadowhead was established in 1935 by Dennis Mitchell as a butchers shop. In the 1960’s John Mitchell, Dennis’s son, turned the business into one of the region’s most respected destinations for wines, whiskies, spirits, craft beers, and cigars.
Now John’s daughter, Frankie Mitchell and her husband James, have taken the store in another exciting direction.
The venue boasts a state of the art walk-in humidor that holds one of the most impressive selections of Havana cigars in the north of England. Beyond the comprehensive range taken from the classic portfolio they also have exclusive LCDH lines, Limited Editions, UK Regional Editions, Reservas, Gran Reservas and even some vintage cigars. There are also private lockers for regular customers to store their purchases.
Just beyond the humidor lies the sampling lounge, designed with comfort and sophistication in mind.
James who manages the day-to-day cigar operation, said.
