Havana Cigar Exchange move into St. James’s
The team behind Havana Cigar Exchange have opened their new flagship store at 1A St James’s Street.
Established in 2014, the Havana Cigar Exchange has always been located in the Park Tower Knightsbridge Hotel. This store will remain open, but they have now expanded onto one of the most prestigious addresses in the world for cigar aficionados.
With its world famous tobacconists, private clubs, hotels bars, tailors, wine merchants, restaurants, hat makers and hairdressers, St James’s holds a long and well deserved reputation for taste and discretion.
Located on the corner of St James’s Street and Pall Mall, 1A is situated in what used to be the Cocoa Tree Gentlemen’s Club. Within sumptuous modern surroundings, they offer a wide selection of cigars including many rare and vintage lines, all housed in a walk-in humidor. They also have private keeps as well as a sampling lounge. A range of wines, spirits as well as hot and cold snacks are available.
Dominika Sindlerova, one of the three directors, said:
“We aimed to design a space that will help our clients feel comfortable to spend time, on their own or with friends, enjoying some of the best cigars available today.
We are a high street store with a private member’s club feel and have departed from a formal, traditional style into something more flexible which can also be hired for private events.”
