H. Upmann Regalias now in boxes of 25
The H. Upmann Regalias is now available in labeled boxes of 25 cigars across the UK.
This cigar was first introduced to the UK market last year as part of the Linea Retro in tins of five cigars. Partly due to the popularity of these tins, the cigars have now been made available in labelled boxes of 25.
The H. Upmann Regalias is a mareva (5 1/8”, 129mm x 42) size cigar. Until its discontinuation in 2002 it had been machine-made and not found in the UK. However, it has since been reintroduced as a long-filler handmade cigar.
This new addition provides an elegant, light to medium-bodied option for afternoon or early evening smokers and should appeal to novices and aficionados alike.
H. Upmann
Herman Upmann was a banker from Germany who so loved Cuban cigars that he moved to Havana in 1844 and set up as both a banker and cigar maker. His bank closed in the early 1920s but his cigars live on as a fine example of an elegant, light to medium flavoured Havana.
The brand is particularly welcome here as Hunters & Frankau has represented H. Upmann in Britain since the 1850s and between 1925 and 1937, we owned the factory in Havana as well as the worldwide brand rights.
