On Monday 2nd December, cigar aficionados from around the world gathered to celebrate the twelfth Boisdale Cigar Smoker of the Year Dinner & Awards.
The evening celebrates the world’s greatest cigars, cigar producers, cigar communicators, cigar sommeliers, and cigar smokers. Guests arrived ready to pay homage alongside the great and good of the cigar world, global film and pop stars, writers, business leaders, politicians and the London commentariat.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Tom Parker Bowles and Ranald Macdonald.
Guests included: Jack Churchill, Piers Morgan, Ray Winstone, Paul Oakenfold, Niall Keating, Kelsey Grammer, Tamer Hassan, Viscount Hereford, Omar Lye-Fook, Cuban Ambassador Her Excellency Bárbara Montalvo Álvarez, James Cosmo and Lord Carnarvon.

Ana Lopez – Hunters & Frankau’s Head of Marketing – Cigar Communicator of the Year
Blue Curran- Cigar Sommelier of the Year
The Romeo & Julieta Wide Churchill – Churchill Cigar of the Year
Tomintoul Cigar Malt – Cigar Spirit of the Year
David Haye – Cigar Sportsperson of the Year
Paul Oakenfold – Cigar Musician of the Year
