The 2026 EMS stamp has been unveiled by Hunters & Frankau.
EMS stands for English Market Selection and has been used by Cuba for over a century to denote the quality of cigars destined for the UK market. In more recent years it has been used by H&F as an easily identifiable mark of quality and authenticity for boxes/small packs of Havana cigars sold in the UK duty paid market.
Each year the colour of the EMS stamp changes and for 2026 it will be magenta.
The EMS stamp guarantees:
Official authentic products supplied directly from Habanos S.A. in Cuba to Hunters & Frankau in the UK
Cigars that have been shipped and stored by experts
Rigorous UK quality checks have been conducted by H&F
All UK taxes and duties are paid
Compliant and current UK health warnings are affixed
