The price has already doubled according to some sources.

  • Flavour: Full
  • Vitola: Hermoso No.3
  • Ring gauge: 48
  • Length: 5 ½ Inches / 140mm

  • Cohiba’s first Limited Edition for five years. Named after the year the brand was originally established for Cuba’s late President, Fidel Castro, the cigars are presented with a distinctive pig-tail cap, like the original Cohibas and the new BHK Linea. Well worth setting aside an hour and a half of your day to enjoy one of these.

Hermoso No.2

  • Year: 2004
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Hermoso No.2
  • Ring gauge: 48
  • Length: 6 ⅛ Inches / 157mm
  • Occasionally overlooked due to some of the large characters released alongside it in 2004, the Hermosos No.2 is nonetheless a fine cigar in its own right. It remains faithful to the medium-bodied Romeo blend and has, by many accounts, aged very well indeed.

Wide Churchill

  • Year: 2015
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Montesco
  • Ring gauge: 55
  • Length: 5 ¼ Inches / 130mm

  • Vitola: Robusto
  • Ring gauge: 50
  • Length: 4 ⅞ Inches / 124mm
  • It could be said that this cigar is an antecedent to the Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill, a 2006 release and fellow Robusto size. From the Short Churchill came the Wide Churchill and then followed the Petit Churchill. An interesting footnote in the emergence of the Churchill linea.

  • Vitola: Británicas Extra
  • Ring gauge: 48
  • Length: 5 ⅜ Inches / 137mm
  • This is a figurado, which means the sides of the cigar are not parallel. But it’s not a classic double-figurado like most of Cuaba’s vitolas Instead. The correct term to describe its shape is a perfecto and there are no other perfectos in any brand made in Cuba these days. The consistent draw of this technically difficult cigar to hand roll became its hallmark and its robust flavours made it a classic.

  • Vitola: Entreacto
  • Ring gauge: 30
  • Length: 4 Inches / 100mm

However, whatever the name, the second Limited Edition release from Partagas was a feisty, full flavoured and intense smoke.
