Tacos

Tacos

  • Year: 2018
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Tacos Imperiales
  • Ring gauge: 49
  • Length: 6 ⅝ Inches / 168mm
  • The Tacos represents the 9th occasion that the Romeo y Julieta brand has been selected to be part of these prestigious and highly sought-after series of cigars. With the same ring gauge as a Double Corona but measuring an inch shorter this extremely rare size offers over an hour of rich and well-rounded, medium-bodied smoking.
Capuleto

Capuleto

  • Year: 2016
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Sobresalientes
  • Ring gauge: 53
  • Length: 6 Inches / 153mm
  • Fittingly launched in Verona, Italy, the setting of Shakespeare’s tragic play which inspired the brand’s name back in 1875. The Capuleto is a sweet, refined and delicate medium bodied cigar. Named after Juliet’s surname (Capulet), it is an easy cigar to fall in love with.
Romeo de Luxe

Romeo de Luxe

  • Year: 2013
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Capuleto
  • Ring gauge: 52
  • Length: 6 ⅜ Inches / 162mm
  • Presented in varnished boxes of 10 cigars the Romeo de Luxe projects a feeling of luxury from the moment you pick a box up to the time you place the finished stub of your cigar in an ashtray. A class act from start to finish.
Duke

Duke

  • Year: 2009
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Duke
  • Ring gauge: 54
  • Length: 5 ½ Inches / 140mm
  • The same size as the Partagas Serie E No.2 the impressive Duke was well placed to deliver the rounded, subtle aroma of the R&J blend. It may have initially taken a little while to capture the imagination of UK cigar smokers but it became a highly sought-after and well respected cigar. The price has already doubled according to some sources.
Escudos

Escudos

  • Year: 2007
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Gordito
  • Ring gauge: 50
  • Length: 5 ½ Inches / 141mm
  • This cigar is the same size as the Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Especial. The “Escudos” was the name of the Portuguese currency prior to joining the Euro. Could this be a hint that these cigars originally had one eye on the Portuguese market? Regardless, a cigar enjoyed all over the world.
Petit Pirámide

Petit Pirámide

  • Year: 2005
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Petit Pirámide
  • Ring gauge: 50
  • Length: 5 Inches / 127mm
  • The Petit Pirámides maintained Romeo y Julieta’s perfect record of releasing a Limited Edition cigar every year since the concept was launched in 2000. The only brand to achieve it. A delicious, medium-sized figurado that, when first realised, some people found a little fuller-flavoured than expected.
Hermoso No.1

Hermoso No.1

  • Year: 2003
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Hermoso No.1
  • Ring gauge: 48
  • Length: 6 ⅝ Inches / 167mm
  • Hermosos translates into English as ‘beautiful’ and these cigars certainly caught the eye when they were released in 2003. The sweetness of the dark wrapper combines with the classic Romeo y Julieta blend to create a beautiful hour or so of smoking enjoyment.
Hermoso No.2

Hermoso No.2

  • Year: 2004
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Hermoso No.2
  • Ring gauge: 48
  • Length: 6 ⅛ Inches / 157mm
  • Occasionally overlooked due to some of the large characters released alongside it in 2004, the Hermosos No.2 is nonetheless a fine cigar in its own right. It remains faithful to the medium-bodied Romeo blend and has, by many accounts, aged very well indeed.
Exhibition No.2

Exhibition No.2

  • Year: 2000
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Prominente
  • Ring gauge: 49
  • Length: 7 ⅝ Inches / 194mm
  • The Double Corona remains one of the largest formats within the Havana cigar portfolio, although today the size is not commonly produced. As with all the Ediciones Limitadas produced before 2007, just the wrappers on these cigars have been aged for 2 years.
Robusto

Robusto

  • Year: 2001
  • Flavour: Medium
  • Vitola: Robusto
  • Ring gauge: 50
  • Length: 4 ⅞ Inches / 124mm
  • It could be said that this cigar is an antecedent to the Romeo y Julieta Short Churchill, a 2006 release and fellow Robusto size. From the Short Churchill came the Wide Churchill and then followed the Petit Churchill. An interesting footnote in the emergence of the Churchill linea.
