This is the first Cohiba Limited Edition to be produced and set the benchmark for all subsequent Limited Edition Cohibas that followed. Today it has become a much sought after and highly prized cigar. It was reproduced as a Limited Edition in 2006, although in boxes of ten rather than 25.

Cohiba’s first Limited Edition for five years. Named after the year the brand was originally established for Cuba’s late President, Fidel Castro, the cigars are presented with a distinctive pig-tail cap, like the original Cohibas and the new BHK Linea. Well worth setting aside an hour and a half of your day to enjoy one of these.

The 54 ring gauge of the Sublimes was remarkable at the time of its release and it became an instant favourite among cigar smokers. However, its reputation has continued to grow with each passing year and it is now rightly considered a classic. Author and journalist Nicholas Foulkes described it as “the best cigar of the century thus far” in his 2017 book “Cigars: a Guide”. An époque defining Havana cigar.
