The Cohiba Talismán launch party

Back

Hunters & Frankau, together with Habanos S.A, hosted the global launch of the Cohiba Talismán in London, England on Tuesday 7th November at The Corinthia Hotel.

Guests arrived from all over the world, including fellow Habanos distributors and Casa del Habanos owners, to help celebrate the release of the latest Limited Edition from Cohiba.

Hunters & Frankau were also delighted to welcome HE Mrs. Teresita Vicente Sotolongo (the Cuban Ambassador for the UK), Mr Manuel Marrero (the Cuban Minister of Tourism), Mr Leopoldo Cintra (Commercial Vice president of Habanos), Mr Jose Maria Lopes-Inchaurbe (Development Vice president of Habanos) and Mr Rodi Manuel Valdez (Vice president of Tabacuba).

“Cohiba – the Ultimate Collection” a cigar and humidor display was on show, displaying many old and rare Cohibas dating back several decades, while Harriet Brocket launched her latest photographic exhibition “Cuba”, bringing a touch of Havana colour to an overcast English evening.

The very first box of Cohiba Talismáns off of the production line was raffled and all proceeds were donated toward helping victims of hurricane Irma in Cuba. Over £10,000 was raised.

To accompany the Talismán Ruinart Blanc de Blanc Champagne was served alongside three bespoke cocktails created (using Dalmore whisky and Havana Club rum) to specifically compliment the Cohiba Talismán’s flavours.

Matthieu de Gottal Chocolatier crafted a selection of fine chocolates exclusively for the evening, while The Dalmore whisky, Havana Club, Hennessey XC cognac and Difference Coffee Co were also available to guests.

There was also a live Cuban band playing throughout the night, to ensure that this English garden party had a distinctly Latin twist.
