The 2023 EMS stamp has been given the green light by Hunters & Frankau.
EMS stands for English Market Selection and has been used by Cuba for over a century to denote the quality of cigars destined for the UK market. In more recent years it has been used by H&F as an easily identifiable mark of quality and authenticity for Havanas sold in the UK duty paid market.
Each year a new colour is selected to be used for the EMS stamp and the new green stamp is now being applied to all UK Havanas by H&F’s quality control department.
