The H. Upmann Magnum 52 has been introduced in celebration of the Chinese lunar year of the tiger.
The cigars are presented in special lacquered boxes each containing 18 cigars. This is now the third year in a row that Habanos has released a cigar to mark this auspicious event. The previous releases were the 2019 Romeo y Julieta Maravillas No.8 (6 1/8” x 55 ring gauge) and the 2020 Hoyo de Monterrey Primaveras (6 5/8” x 48).
The Magnum 52 is a unique size within the Habanos portfolio and measures 5 7/8” (148mm) x 52 ring gauge. However, its familiarity may be due to its similarity with the Cohiba Siglo VI, being just 2mm shorter and sharing a 52 ring gauge.
Although created for the Chinese market these cigars are available worldwide and seem sure to prove popular with cigar smokers and collectors across the globe.
